Hector, MN is a town on the way to everywhere.
Located along the junction of State Highway 4 and US Highway
212, this town of 1200 is on the way for folks traveling to and
from the lakes or a main route west to South Dakota.
Located 1/2 block from the intersection of Hwy. 212
& 4 is Hill's Unique Gifts in a shop filled with gifts,
collectibles, lawn ornaments, and holiday creations.
When customers stop by the 8,000+ square foot gift shop, they
will find a store full of friendly happy people, who are always
eager to please the customer.
Johnnie Hill, originally from Gary, SD has owned the business
for nearly 50 years. He met his wife Polly
after he moved to Hector. They have two children. Teri who works
in the business with her father and Dan who is serving our
country in the United States Air Force. Johnnie and Polly also
have two grandchildren, Alexa Me and Jonathan Paul.

Hill's Unique Gifts is different from any other store in
Hector, MN
We handle items from all over, and even make some ourselves:
wind chimes, plant stands, and Christmas decorations are made
right at the gift shop.
The cement lawn ornaments come from as far away as Canada.
The wooden lawn ornaments come from as far away as Pennsylvania,
Wisconsin and South Dakota. The steel windmills and
butterflies come from Iowa. Many of the lawn
ornaments are built right here in the great state of
Minnesota.
Hill's Unique Gifts tries to carry unique items. We have a
saying, if you can't find it anywhere else, you can probably
find it at Hill's Unique Gifts.
In the springtime, you will find a wide variety of bedding
plants along with the outdoor ornaments.
People travel for miles to visit Hill's Unique Gifts in Hector,
